Can I delete a Key?

Has a key been lost or deactivated on site that you'd now like to remove from Security Records?

Long story short - Keys cannot be completely removed from Security Records.

This design choice in our software is intentional, as it helps maintain accurate tracking and offers a comprehensive history of every key that has ever been cut for each physical location within our records.

You can however update the status of a key to "deactivated" within Security Records once a rekey has been completed to show that the key no longer works the locks on site, or to "broken" if the key was physically damaged beyond repair - See how to make these updates here!
