E-Signatures are a simple way of capturing confirmation that a User is accepting possession of a Key
Depending on your security protocols, it may be necessary to collect an E-Signature from the User when you provide them with their physical key.
Once you've assigned the key within Digital Key Holder, you will be presented with an option to Request E-Signature
A pop up window will appear asking for the phone number or email of the User you'd like to request a signature from.
Once you select "Send" the request will be automatically emailed / texted
The User will receive the below message. Once they select the link, they will be asked to sign virtually
A pop up window will appear confirming the basic information of the key you are obtaining a signature for. They'll select "Click To Sign Here"
On their device, the Key Holder can sign their name to the best of their ability then select "Accept and Save"
Once saved, the signature will appear and they will see confirmation that Key Receipt has been saved. They can also print the Key Receipt from this page as well if a physical copy is required
Signed Key Receipts can be found on the User Details page for future reference
