InstaKey needs to collect critical information from each Location prior to conversion
Once you've logged into Security Records and navigated to the Digital Site Survey Module, follow the below directions to submit a Site Survey
Choose a Location from the prepopulated list in the drop-down menu, or opt for "Add Location" if your desired site isn't listed. After selecting your Location, please confirm the following details:
- If a Knox Box key is needed for the Fire Department
- If your Location has a Control Key on hand to remove your existing cores
- How many total keys will be needed for the management staff after conversion
After choosing a Location and entering the necessary information, click on "Save Location Information" to proceed.
A new section will appear below with options for Doors. If you need to identify a new Door at your location, select “Create New Door.” If you are already using InstaKey, you can choose “Existing Doors” and select from the list of previously identified access points on your site.
Once you’ve selected the specific Door you’d like to submit images for, select “Add Door”
You can upload several images simultaneously by selecting all the relevant files for the Location. After you have made your selections, click on the “Upload” button to proceed.
Once images have been uploaded, you can review them in the Uploaded Images section. Once satisfied with the images provided, select “Complete Door”.
You will repeat this process for each physical Door on site that you'd like to have converted to InstaKey
Once images for each Door on site have been uploaded, select “Complete Location” to submit your survey to InstaKey for review!
