How do I find individual locations in SecurityRecords.com?

Navigating location records in securityrecords.com

After logging into SecurityRecords.com, you’ll see the reporting dashboard. From the dashboard, you’ll see the Locations Installed pie chart which is a simple breakdown of locations installed with InstaKey (Active vs. Inactive Locations)

When you click into the report, you have the ability to filter down to installed locations, not installed locations and all locations. This report can be exported to an Excel file.

If you are looking for information on a specific location, use the Locations drop-down on the menu bar at the top of the screen. Type in the location number and click Find. Full location numbers or partial location numbers can be searched. Location names may also be used in the search field.

From the search results, click on the location you are looking for. All of the text seen in red is a clickable link to view connected information.

Clicking on the name of the location will bring you to the location detail page. Here you can review all the details of what InstaKey has on record for that location including: the system that is installed, the address, location contact info, notes (when applicable), options (which is administrative for InstaKey), Keys, Doors, and Users.

Keys will display active keys. Doors will display all doors/access points at the location and the system installed on each door. Users allows key assignments and filling out user profile information which links a user to a location.

If you would like to view all locations, go back to the Locations drop down in the menu bar at the top and instead of searching for a specific location in the search bar, click on View All Locations.

All locations will be displayed by location number. The entire list of locations may be exported into Excel for further manipulation.
