Every core and key provided by InstaKey is uniquely configured according to a specific Door Hardware Index (DHI). This DHI is directly linked to the precise pinning or cutting pattern of each core or key.

In a Master System, the DHI helps determine whether a core or key grants access to all areas (Master Level) or is restricted to specific doors (User Level).
