Keys can get stuck from time to time - Don't panic!
If your key is stuck in your lock, please follow the below troubleshooting tips
- Dry Graphite - Find the tube of dry graphite included in your rekey kit and gently squeeze a small amount around the key in the lock.
- This will lubricate the lock, hopefully allowing the key to be removed

- Compressed Air - Apply a short burst of compressed air into the lock to dislodge any debris that may be obstructing the key.
- Leverage -Gently insert a small screwdriver in the keyhole to create leverage, allowing you to carefully wiggle the key free.
- A paperclip can then be run along the top of the core to reset the pinning inside the lock
AVOID USING WD-40 IN AN INSTAKEY LOCK, AS IT CAN CAUSE THE PINS TO BECOME STICKY & MAY SEIZE THE CORE, RENDERING THE LOCK INOPERABLE
